Suggest an acknowledgement receiver !

AYY annually awards various acknowledgements to persons and entities, who have acted meritoriously within the Student Union,. The acknowledgements are based on the acknowledgement regulation, which defines the criteria for each recognition. The acknowledgements are awarded annually at the annual ball or other similar occasion. Recipients for the acknowledgements are decided by the board of the Student Union based on a proposal formulated by the acknowledgement committee which is appointed by the board of the Student Union. The acknowledgement committee gathers its proposal according to submitted nominations. Each past and present member and employee of the Student Union is eligible to make nominations for the recipients of the acknowledgements.

The Community Badge (awarded 15-20 yearly) can be awarded to a person who has been active in the Student Union.

The Badge of merit (awarded 4-10 yearly) can be awarded to a person who has been active in the Students’ Union for a long time and on a large scale.

The Badge of honour (awarded 0-3 yearly) may be awarded to a person who has made a long-term and wide-ranging contribution to the Students’ Union, thus furthering the aims of the Students’ Union.

A Hero Badge (awarded 0-3 yearly) may be awarded to a person or entity who has contributed through an act or project to the lives of the members of the Students’ Union.

A miniature flag may be awarded to a member or non-member of the Students’ Union who has contributed to the aims of the Students’ Union.

The AYY’s sash may be awarded as a token of appreciation to a non-member who has contributed to the efforts of the Students’ Union in the field of its activities.
